It was great fun to create a quick image with one of my favorite flowers and the bee. The weather is getting warmer and my flowers are starting to show up. These are Black-eyed Susans and they easy for me to grow. According to The Old Farmers Almanac “(They are) members of the sunflower family, the “black eye” is named for the dark brown-purple centers of its daisy-like flower heads. They are native to North America and one of the most popular wildflowers grown. They tend to blanket open fields, often surprising the passer-by with their golden-yellow beauty.” Do you have a favorite subject that inspires you to create a quick image?
