It was exciting for me to teach an introductory Copic marker class at Reddi-Arts this past Saturday morning. I really enjoyed learning from the students as they create their own images. Everyone was provided a pear which was used as our inspiration and visual reference for a drawing. To assist with the proportions of drawing the pear, we started with the box shape. I demonstrated marker rendering with the two images above. Below are two amazing images that were done by the students. The first image was done by a student who had watercolor experience and created a very expressive image. The second image was done by a gentleman who had experience blending the colors together successfully. Looking forward to the next class for sure!
